The Los Angeles Theatre Academy Annual Summer Camp & Theatre Workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to introduce your child to a variety of disciplines in the performing arts. The LATA summer camp includes professional instruction in theatre, music theory, voice, multicultural dance styles, costume and prop design, a private playground, daily nutritious lunch and snacks, and weekly indoor and outdoor field trips in the natural surroundings of Elysian Park. Running from June to August, the summer camp culminates in a final performance showcasing all of the new skills your child has acquired during classes including an art show display with a live auction of Los Angeles based artist's works.

The Summer Camp & Theatre Workshop is designed for children 5 to 12 years old. Children age 4 and under will not be permitted to attend.
$260 per week ($10 dollars for Paypal service fee)

June 15 to August 14 (PERFORMANCE ON AUGUST 15 time TBD)
Early drop off at 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM available for $10 extra per day.
Students must be picked up no later than 6:00 pm unless a pre-arranged late pick-up has been scheduled at $5 extra per day only. A late pick-up fee will be charged to all parents who do not recover their child on time. The late fee is due upon pick-up. The fees for late pick-up will be $1.00 per minute after 6:00 pm. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Do i need to pay with paypal?
No, there are other forms to pay. PAYPAL HAS $10 DOLLARS SERVICE FEE.
OTHER FORMS ARE VENMO, CREDIT CARD, CASH OR AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWAL.
Can I pay weekly?
Yes, once you take one week and you are happy in our camp you can pay weekly! We want to make sure that we are a good match and we are all happy!
Are the teachers professionals or are they students doing a summer job?
All of our teachers are experienced professionals in the entertainment industry.
We do have some young assistants that help us with daily activities, most of them being former alumni that have been in our program and are part of the LATA family.
What is the schedule and pricing for the week of July 1st?
We are working this week from 8:00 to 6:00 every day except Thursday the 4th.
The price is the same, $190 per week.
How do we register online for our second child, as far as using the drop down menu and pricing?
Our Paypal buttons are per unit. In April we open the button with a 20% discount for one sibling. One button will pay for both. THERE WILL BE A SERVICE FEE TO USE PAYPAL.
Also, we would like to register at least some of the weeks with our younger son’s best friend. It will help us all greatly with pick up and drop off. May we indicate that on our applications?
Yes,, On your application add your child's friend's name on the second page for autorized names to pick up your children.
We may be visiting family for part of the summer and were wondering if it is possible to do the first three weeks of camp and then come back when we return for the last few weeks.
ABSOLUTELY! Our camp works on a weekly basis. You can also pay weekly or buy all the weeks you want ahead of time. When you fill out your application make sure to mark the possible weeks you will be with us and that is all. Very simple!
Is your summer program dual language, English and Spanish?
It is bilingual, but not dual. Our staff is completely bilingual. We teach our campers some vocabulary and phrases in Spanish.
We have our Summer Camp Spanish immersion program and it is only 1 week with a final performance in Spanish. Children must be comfortable understanding, speaking and reading in Spanish.
